Shoes – Walking in someone else’s
shoes.
What is nicer and more posh than
a brand new pair of shoes! We all love shoes- whether it is some old slip slops
or some comfy slippers, it protects our feet from outside elements and dirt,
keeps our toes nice and warm as toast.
No shoes are allowed upstairs in
our house. ‘Please take off your shoes when you enter’ The dirt/germs that they contain at the bottom is too big
to mention, therefore: No shoes upstairs!
It is not always easy to walk in another person’s shoes. Here are some photos I took of my grand child 'trying his best to walk in Nana's shoes. It is a struggle!

No two people are
the same and each has its own mould and shape to fit the owner comfortably.
Gone are the days when the only shoes we knew as children were the
hand-me-downs from my older sister and then the hand-me-downs from some rich
distant cousin. No damage came from it as I have perfect straight toes and no
ailments at my age.
How difficult is it to walk in another’s shoes? In our
lives we often envy other people for what they stand for and their way of
life-it is only sometimes when we talk deeper----we find they struggle to
balance on those high heels. Their lives look glam, but in fact they carry so
much pain that nobody can ever imagine. Think twice before you judge a person
by its comfy / lovely / expensive /pauper ‘’shoes’’. It is also not always so
easy to ‘fill’ someone’s shoes in a new position or endeavour. The only way is
to try.
Here are some bootees I knitted – not for the faint
hearted! Very bright, loved by some free spirit people who broke the mould with
their babies. I grew fond of them as the babies respond to them with a hint of
interest!

Weekend is almost upon us so enjoy your own shoes and be
content with them or give them a good polish!
Luvvies
