The darkness is making way for light

After two solid months of having the house surrounded by scaffolding it is COMING DOWN! Hurrah!!!!Suddenly our whole house can be seen through different eyes-everything  seems so  bright, even though the rain still prevails.

  

Having this necessary work done – our roof was leaking. No wonder after 75 years of guarding the inside against snow/hail/rain she decided she (that is the roof) has  had enough and needs a make-over.

In daily life we are like that too, we are sometimes so set in our ways and need a makeover - it is only when we enjoy life to the fullest that the tik tok brain comes into the swing of new ideas and innovations. Having the gloom surround us in this case (scaffolding preventing light coming in) made us  accustom  to it and in this case we accepted it as ‘ a phase only’

Sometimes it works to the other extreme with some people (see my blog about my late mum’s crafts 12.07.12). In  my case I need the sun in my life and in my heart to be able to sit down and be creative, but then, alas, we are all different.

The darkness the scaffolding brought inside the house was necessary for the healing that came in the form of a fixed roof. Be healed today and get rid of the scaffolding in your life and create!
