Reasons to shout of with Joy♥♥
Spring is here♥♥
With Spring arriving at last with drips and drabs of cold
spells it is lovely to see that the promise of new beginnings are in the air!
New buds are on all the plants and the Tulips who are usually dominate the
garden beginning in April is only starting to get ready to show forth some
lovely colours with their blooms.
Saturday was gardening day and the weeds were tended to only
to read in the paper that we are going to be invaded this month by slugs /
snails….ugh eh ah…last year we ‘handpicked’ ‘millions’ from the garden and the
birds thought it was take-a-way day the next day. This years a whole lot of
pennies will be scattered amongst the flowers to give all little ‘electric’
shocks which will bring forth a message…go back where you come from- you are
unwanted!
Yesterday morning we were privileged to be woken by a Coal
Tit and his friends singing to announce they are there! I was shaking a bit and
he would not sit still so the photo is a bit blurry…..sorry……….but had to share

Tree is in bud and doves are waiting for their brekkie♥ |
All this lovely lighter / brighter mornings have inspired me
to make more hexagons than ever – It is a project I started by ‘Making
Something out of Nothing which cost me Nothing’. Soon it will be turning into a ‘quilt’ if I may call it that.
Next step is to look on Utube what the next step is after they are all sewn
together. What marvel this Utube is to teach you anything for free! Bless all
their little nimble fingers and kindness to share their knowledge to make the
world a better place♥
My Friday (19.04.13) was spent in the local hospital as my
hubbie went in for a cardio version as he had an irregular heartbeat – hope it
is all sorted now! One can just but be positive about things like that at our
age and take each day as it comes.

Sometimes life may seem that there is no light at the end of
the tunnel, but if it is not an oncoming train, rest assure – there is always
SOMETHING to brighten your day. The challenge I took on to make something out
of nothing and which cost nothing but time, is a challenge to all those out
there who told me they cannot do / do not have the resources to create
something. All you need is access to Utube (free at the libraries) ASK friends
and family for old off casts pieces of material / take an old dress / shirt and
Bob’s your uncle. A needle and a thread are available from most markets or the
pound shop and away you GO!
All my grand children are inspired by the coming of Spring and also inspired by their mum she makes the most beautiful cushions (patchwork) - it puts like...a little fire inside them to also create - it is in the blood!
My grand daughter Adile - busy with her art |

So once again on this lovely Spring morning I challenge
everyone who say they cannot craft as it is too expensive to take on the
challenge and make something out of nothing!
Visiting an art exhibition .....in Northampton to get more inspiration for creation♥♥♥ Grand children enjoying the 'art' |
Happy Crafting!
Luvvies
