Another day...almost another month

My my how does time fly! With the long winter that visited us (univited) if I may add, it feels like Spring and summer would not come at all, BUT the last week it arrived. Also arriving with it are thousands of little immigrants in the form of snails...they migrate from the neighbours into our yard.

On a sad note, my hubbie has not been well for some time and after a cardio version last Friday he has been running around for one week now just to get a letter to say he is fit to go back to work in Qatar. The specialist said: you must get a letter from your GP....The GP gave him a note..'fit to work' although she has not seen him...his work rejected it...the GP phoned him back and she will now 'write' to the specialist to get a letter from him to submit....in the meantime he is missing his flight back....looks like he is not going to go back at all by the looks of it as the 'heat stress' in the middle East caused all these problems...oh well...will patiently wait and see what happens next!  To add to all this...his one friend who he has known since 1977 passed away and he could not go to say good bye...All we can do without  raising the blood pressure and add to pressure is sit back and enjoy the birds singing in the trees and have a nice cuppa in true British Fashion♥

The garden has been an inspiration this last week and lots of time was spent in it ( a lot of time hand picking snails.....then 'offer' them to the birds who just LOVE them...(are they French)? Apart from the French Finch..hehehe

At last Spring has arrived♥♥♥

My little garden friends (hubbie hates them) also woke up and now I have someone to talk to again whilst gardening
In the meantime, to get rid of my stress levels (apart from collecting snails...) I have been working on my blanket, my 'Free' scraps project and made some more hexagons and some little love-hearts - all in the making
Little love hearts made from scraps - in the making♥♥♥

My crotchet project from scrap wool is almost finished...
(was suppose to finish by January........)

More little hexagons see the light....

To lift my spirits, my grandson is making music for Nana♥♥♥
Have a lovely weekend
and remember...
the sun will shine tomorrow,
wherever you are♥♥♥

Luvvies
x
